Two suspects of procuring were arrested

March 17, 2017 by Staff News Writer

A 43-year-old man, surnamed Narváez Sánchez, and a 32-year-old woman identified as Castro López were arrested. They are suspected of procuring.

The Trafficking section of the Judicial Investigation Agency, along with San José Municipal Police, raided two “dating houses” in Luján neighborhood.

We joined the judicial authorities in the intervention of two commercial premises that, we believe, were carrying out activities of commercial, sexual exploitation in an illicit manner,

said Marcelo Solano, director of San José municipal police.

According to Solano, they had been investigating this type of illicit business and once they checked the activities, they filed the complaint, which ended in the raid and arrests.

In the premises, which were closed by the Municipal Police, there were women who were helped by the authorities, because the investigation was not against them. In fact, they were treated as victims.
