Uber announces it will expand service in Puntarenas and Guanacaste

April 17, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The Uber collaborative transport application announced the expansion of services in the provinces of Puntarenas and Guanacaste.

We know that Easter is coming and that many people are going to enjoy their vacations to the beach. That is why we are very happy to tell you that now you have one more option to travel from A to B in the areas of Liberia, Nicoya, Manuel Antonio and Jacó,”

said the company in an email sent to users.

It also indicated that they enabled the SEMANAPUERTO code to travel in Puntarenas and SEMANAGUANA for Guanacaste. When applying them you can get a 15% discount of up to ¢1,500 in one travel if done in the selected areas.

However, the company noted that the community is just growing in these places so that the availability may not be the same as in the Greater Metropolitan Area.
