UK company wants chocolate testers

February 16, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Since its discovery, thousands of years ago, chocolate has maddened millions of people with its aroma and flavor. There are even those who claim that the pleasure that consumes them resembles an addiction .

Many have thought of making a living out of eating chocolate or even being able to work in that market …

If you are one of those people, this seems to be your opportunity. A multinational company recently issued a notice stating that it seeks workers who can perform as professional chocolate testers.

The Cadbury sweets and chocolate production company, owned by Mondelēz International, is looking for people who can fill a very special vacancy.

According to the notice in Linkedin, they want to find a professional who can try chocolate and cocoa drinks to improve the quality of their products.

To get the job, applicants must have “a passion for confectionery and want to try new and imaginative products.” But best of all, prior experience is not required.

Of course, the employment has some requirements: to master English language and to live in the UK. In addition, it is a part time job, since it involves seven and a half hours a week. It’s only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 12:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

Undoubtedly, what the company is looking for are people who really love chocolate, and want to contribute to the innovation of flavors.
