United Airlines’ new controversial case

April 18, 2017 by Staff News Writer

United Airlines does not leave the controversy. A few days after the scandal over the expulsion of a passenger, an Utah couple claimed to be taken off their final flight to Costa Rica where they planned to get married.

The news, reported by KHOU TV, stated that the airline expelled the couple for not being seated in the corresponding seats.

Those involved were traveling with friends. Their final destination was San José, however, they had to stop in Houston.

According to United Airlines, the couple insisted “repeatedly” on sitting in a seat of a higher category than the one they had purchased.

They did not follow the crew’s instructions,

stated the officials.
