United States’ Lottery Visas began on October 4th and will last until November 7th

The US Embassy announced the registration period for the Visa Lottery 2018. The process will be from October 4th at 10 a.m. to November 7th, 2016 at 10 a.m.

This lottery grants 50,000 permanent resident visas to people from countries with low immigration rates to the United States. Costa Rica is included in that list.

The State Department has dedicated an exclusive site for interested people since the whole process is conducted only via Internet, they will not accept paper application forms.

It is important to note that each person can register only one, and as indicated by the Embassy: people who apply more than once will be disqualified.

No intermediary is required and the registration process is free of charge.
