Upala received Solís with many requests

December 6, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Upala’s people had many needs and requests for President Luis Guillermo Solís.

The president met with local authorities on Monday to take stock of what has been done to address the emergency.

Solís took the opportunity to take a tour from the National Institute of Learning, up to the Sports plaza of Upala.

Along the way, many people, from children, men and elderly, approached the President for help, asking from a house to food.

Solís promised everyone that he would not let them alone and invited them to come to the Joint Institute for Social Aid (IMAS) to assess their needs.
