Vehicle hit the train in Alajuela

On Wednesday afternoon a light vehicle hit the train. The accident happened in the sector of Rio Segundo in front of Santiago supermarket in Alajuela.

According to the communications department of the Red Cross,

the driver of the vehicle, who was aware and oriented, only have minor bruises. The patient did not need to be transferred to any medical center.”

Support units from the Fire Department and Traffic Police also went to the site.

According to María Fernanda Arias, spokeswoman for INCOFER,

it was a minor collision, there were no injuries, there were only minor damages in the car.”

The train went from Alajuela to San José.
