“Vivo sin alcohol” seeks to stop the habit of drinking among young people

November 18, 2016 by Staff News Writer

According to Mónica Solórzano, Executive Director of Educalcohol, the initiative was born of a consultation process that was carried out with young people and that allowed to understand what kind of social programs adolescents are looking for.

The program “Vivo sin alcohol” (I live without alcohol) was created to prevent students at social risk from consuming liquor, and the initiative seeks sponsors to achieve this.

Solórzano explained that young people were asking for programs in which they really participated to become agents of change. The Director also said that they wanted to collaborate, either with time or money in order to help other teenagers, among other things.

To register or to learn more about the program, call 2290-5570 or write to info@educalcoholcr.org.
