Water service suspension will affect communities in Moravia

March 7, 2018 by Staff News Writer

On Thursday, ten thousand people will be affected by the suspension of the drinking water service in several communities from Moravia.

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AYA) reported that the suspension will be carried out from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m., due to the maintenance work in the water treatment plant of Los Sitios in Moravia.

It is recommended that the affected population take the necessary measures and if possible, the service will be restored before the indicated time. We urge people to properly and responsibly use the precious liquid. The service will be gradually restored in the different locations,”

said AYA in a press release.
