“We’ll hunt them down!” threatens Maduro

Maduro updated a balance given shortly before by the vice president, Tareck El Aissami, of 21 arrests.

Thirty arrests at this time and we are going to hunt them down, they are all identified. One by one they are going to fall and they go to justice,”

threaten the socialist president on a radio and television broadcast.

The opposition demonstration, which gathered around 10,000 people, was scheduled to be concentrated in a well-off neighborhood of Caracas, but the leaders decided to change the route to the Ombudsman’s Office located downtown, a traditional bastion of Chavismo.

The mayor of the municipality of Chacao, Ramón Muchacho, reported that 19 people received medical care and are in stable condition.
