Wet X-rays from HNN resumed operations

June 23, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Fortunately, the three X-ray machines that got wet after last weekend’s flooding in the National Children’s Hospital (HNN) did not suffer major damage.

The director of the medical center, Olga Arguedas, confirmed that hospital technicians and engineers finished the drying and revision processes and determined that the equipment is in good condition.

The three instruments, valued at $ 3 million, resumed operations on Wednesday afternoon.

As a consequence of the flooding, about 60 children lost their appointments, but the hospital will start rescheduling them, five at a time.
