March 16, 2017 by Staff News Writer

When the three new lanes on La Platina bridge are finally opened, as well as Alajuela-San José road, drivers’ restrictions won’t longer be applied.

According to Minister of Public Works and Transport Carlos Villalta, drivers will be able to use the road next week, but there isn’t a specific date.

Once it is done, there will be two lanes to San José from midnight to noon, from Monday to Sunday, and traffic to Alajuela will be kept in one lane.

Then, from noon to midnight, two lanes will work towards Alajuela and one towards San José.
