Whirlwind and explosion in Alajuela

A video camera caught images of a whirlwind of Thursday afternoon in La Guácima de Alajuela.

Adrián Gutiérrez Quirós recorded the right moment when the natural phenomenon occurred, just when an electric power transformer exploded!

Heavy rains and wind hit Alajuela and Heredia this Thursday.
