Winds could reach 80 km/h today

February 8, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The windy conditions will continue today, with gusts that could reach up to 80 kilometers per hour. According to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN), the winds are favored by the high values of atmospheric pressure over the Caribbean Sea.

It is expected that the gusts exceed 50 km/h, especially in the mountainous areas where higher speeds are recorded.

Although little rainfall is estimated, it could occur during the morning and at night in the Caribbean and the North Zone, and in the afternoon in light mountainous areas.
