November 14, 2016 by Staff News Writer

A 42-year-old woman was arrested on November 11th under the suspicious of committing robberies to the detriment of senior citizens.

The woman allegedly intercepted the victims on the streets of San José. She invited them to have a coffee in a nearby establishment and once in the place she gained their confidence, but at a certain moment she laced their beverages with a substance to drugged them. The woman then she proceeded to stripped them from their belongings.

In two cases, she apparently took her already sedated victims to an ATM where they withheld money from their bank accounts,”
