Workers of the Municipality of Alajuela are on strike

November 13, 2018 by Staff News Writer

On Monday, the workers of the Municipality of Alajuela went on strike due to two alleged breaches by the administration.

They claim:
-There is non-compliance with the salary negotiation for the II Semester of 2018, as defined by the Collective Agreement and based on an agreement previously defined with the previous mayor Roberto Thompson.
-Failure to negotiate with the union organizations for the definition of the percentage of the salary increase corresponding for 2019.

If you must carry out any procedure in the entity, consider that the strike could affect the service.
