Young girl who survived massacre in Liberia is getting better

The 14-year-old girl who survived the massacre in Liberia, where five university students lost their lives, is now stable.

According to Vanessa Montiel, deputy director of the Enrique Baltodano Hospital in Liberia,

the teenager remains stable and is getting better.”

The young woman, a relative of one of the other victims, was in the house where the violent incident took place.

The teenager was the only one to survive the massacre that occurred between Wednesday night and Thursday morning in La Victoria neighborhood of Liberia.

The funeral of the victims was held on Saturday.
