However, President Luis Guillermo Solís, will celebrate the heroic deed of 1856 next Tuesday at the Juan Santamaria Museum, where he will resume his historian duties.

There, the President will give a talk about the meaning of that battle before students of the school El Roble de Alajuela and the general public that wants to participate.

He will participate in the official activity carried out by the Municipality of Alajuela this Friday, but he decided that April 11th itself would also be a kind of talk-reflection,”

said Boris Ramírez, head of communications at the Presidential House.

In addition to the talk, Solís will take a tour of the museum and then go to the statue of Juan Santamaria to put an offering.
