2 Colombian citizens were selling drugs

January 20, 2017 by Staff News Writer

An anti-drug intervention was carried on the street to the Children’s Museum.

According to Marcelo Solano, Municipal Police Director of San José, the investigation and intervention work was done along with the narcotics brigade from the Judicial Investigation Agency. Solano informed that the money related to the purchased product was already found and two Colombians were arrested: they are going to be transferred to the Public Ministry.

Spite of these are low numbers, they are enough to start legal proceedings against the traffickers.

Solano mentioned that one of the detainees is a woman who had a baby in her arms when arrested. For this reason, the child will be under a relative’s custody.

Solano explained that they have repeatedly made operations in that area and they will continue to do so until drug traffickers are prosecuted and removed from there.
