6 thousand people from Dos Cercas will have their own Ebais

January 17, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Approximately 6,000 residents in Desamparados will now have their own Ebais. The construction of the facilities started on Monday.

The building has a cost of ¢ 320 million and it’s possible thanks to the work by the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) and the Municipality of Desamparados.

This project has been waiting for about 14 years to see the light. The municipality provided the land for the construction of a 350-square-meter building.

The Ebais will be located just behind the delegation of Public Force Dos Cercas and it will provide comprehensive medical and dental care. The project is expected to be ready in the next 6 months.
