Christmas will arrive on December 1st, with the traditional lighting of the Children’s Museum façade.

For the 2016 edition, the main show starts at 6:30 p.m., although previous activities will start from 2:30 p.m., with different attractions and entertainments, all under proper safety measures and control, so that thousands of families enjoy the activities.

The event will last an hour, and it’s going to feature the participation of 26 actors and dancers on stage; it will mix drama, music, dance, videomapping, lighting, some surprises and projections.

This year, the stage is going to show how Christmas is celebrated in other countries, and how faith, friendship, solidarity, love and family, make this the best time of the year.

The organization of the activity took nine months. This year the director of the staging will be actor and announcer Gustavo Rojas and the overall production is in the hands of the Children’s Museum.

For 16 years the traditional event “Castle of Dreams” has been performed, in order to officially welcome the holiday season in the capital city and to offer an early Christmas gift to the visitors.

More than 11 thousand people are expected to go and the show is completely free.
