Police beats micro drug trafficking

On Saturday, Special Operational Forces from Ministry of Public Security held several actions to seize large amount of drugs, cash, weapons and even a radio communication device.

The operations were carried out in Cristo Rey, Calle Blancos and Sagrada Familia, where authorities managed to seize 2,072 doses of crack, 297 doses plus 23 grams of cocaine.

In addition, 744 doses plus 307 grams of marijuana were seized along 17 doses of the same drug, cripy type.

A pistol, six ammunition, communication radio and more than 500,000 colones in cash were also seized by the police authorities.

Also, in the sector of Cuatro Reinas de Tibás, a man named Matamoros was arrested following the discovery of a small laboratory, where there were 75 marijuana plants.
