According to the National Meteorological Institute (CNM), hurracane Otto will hit Barra del Colorado on November 24th. This was announced by Juan Carlos Fallas, director of the CNM.

However, the specialist wanted to make it clear that people should not only focus on that moment, but also in the effects of the peripheries of the storm that would affect the country since the early morning.

Winds in the country will be about 110 to 150 kilometers per hour in the northern Caribbean. In the Northern Zone, winds would blow between 90 and 110 kilometers per hour and in the Central Valley, they would go from 60 to 80 kilometers per hour.

In addition, rains will be intense throughout the North Caribbean, the North Zone and even the Pacific.
