Officers confiscated 83 bottle of several liqueurs to 4 people

This weekend, the Border Police seized 83 bottles of several liqueurs to 4 people, who failed to verify the legal purchase of these products.

The seizures were obtained in Guaycará de Golfito. In total, the value of these products was close to ¢ 600,000.

The first case was recorded in a check point on the Interamerican Highway.

The officers stopped a vehicle driven by a subject surnamed Lotz, and they were able to observe bags with apparent bottles of liquor. The officers confiscated 48 bottles.

In this same place, 13 bottles of apparent liquor were confiscated to a woman surnamed Pérez. The value of this confiscation is close to ¢ 200,000.

A third case allowed the confiscation of a package with other 10 bottles, whose value is close to 110,000 colones.

Finally, officers seized 12 bottles of apparent liquor when a man tried to pass through this road control. This other seizure has a value of 180,000 colones.
