ICODER to continue managing “La Laguna” park in Paraíso

January 6, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Costa Rican Institute of Sport and Recreation (ICODER) will continue to manage the park La Expresión Laguna Doña Ana Cleto for 99 years.

This was pointed out by Alba Quesada, director of this entity, who explained that an agreement was reached with the municipality of Paraíso so that ICODER will maintain the administration of the park located in Llanos de Santa Lucía.

Months ago, the municipality requested the administration of the property, however, it will remain in the hands of the ICODER.

The municipality had asked us to give it back and the mayor wanted to run it, but the people did not want it to be the municipality so we reached an agreement,”

said Quesada.
