Natalia Díaz is the new head of the Libertarian Movement

April 25, 2017 by Staff News Writer

On Monday, the Libertarian Movement elected legislator and presidential candidate Natalia Díaz as head of fraction for the last legislative year.

The decision was taken by the three libertarian legislators who, for the first time since this administration took office, did not elect Otto Guevara for that position.

Guevara was elected as deputy head of the bench.

Díaz said that her designation is due to a process of renewal in the Libertarian Movement and clarified that she will continue to push forward the bills she has defended in the last three years.

We continue with the promotion of bills like economic revival, those of reduction of the public expense, public employment and pensions of the Judicial Power,”

said the legislator.

Díaz denied that the change in the leadership of the bench is motivated by electoral reasons. Guevara and Diaz will compete for the presidential candidacy on July 16th.
