Woman with international arrest warrant for scam was finally arrested

A woman named Quintero and American nationality was arrested on Thursday afternoon by officers of the Escazú Public Force.

After being investigated in a vehicular control checkpoint, it was verified that she carried an American passport without entrances or exits to the country. The arrest was near El Basurero Street, on the border with Alajuelita.

According to the press department of the Ministry of Public Security,

the officers coordinated with the US Embassy and Migration and it was concluded that the woman had the international arrest warrant for the crime of fraud.”

This person was immediately referred to the Judicial Police and transferred to the First Judicial Circuit in San José.
