This is San José after heavy downpour

The heavy rains that affected San José and other parts of the country on Saturday night left behind a number of debris, mainly in the vicinity of the residential Mallorca in Curridabat, affected by Maria Aguilar River, and in the vicinity of the Park of La Paz.

Sigifredo Pérez, of the CNE, said that they are in constant communication with the affected sites, to follow up on incidents that may arise.

The Municipality of Curridabat reported that they need products like milk, diapers, and wet towels for the people in the shelters mainly in Tirrases.

The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) maintains alert for heavy rains in cantons such as Aguirre, Buenos Aires, Cartago, Turrialba, San José, Corredores, Coto Brus, Golfito, Heredia, Parrita, Pérez Zeledón, Quepos and San Isidro.
