Boat Parade this Saturday in Quepos

December 7, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The multicolored lights and the Christmas decoration will take the Quepos Sea this Saturday, December 9th in the fourth edition of the Bright Lights and Boat Parade.

It is a parade of illuminated boats organized by Marina Pez Vela since 2014 with the aim of welcoming Christmas while thanking the people of Quepos for their support during their years in the town.

The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a musical presentation by the Big Band that will offer a repertoire of modern music. Later, there will be a show by Cirko Vivo at 6:30 p.m., which will be the prelude to the show at sea.

The boat parade will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will culminate with a pyrotechnic show near 8:00 p.m. The Christmas event is completely free and those who wish to attend will be able to take their entrance bracelet at the Navy facilities starting at 3:00 p.m.

According to the organizers, this year around 15 boats will participate and about 2,000 attendees are expected.
