During the police mega-operation that took place on Monday, officers of the Public Force of Garabito found an important shipment of cocaine, which was transported in a cargo vehicle that was on top of a platform. The 270 kilos of this drug were wrapped with the logo of the Real Madrid.
The authorities were carrying out several patrols in Puntarenas and observed this platform that carried a small cargo vehicle, whose driver was very nervous, so they decided to investigate further. At the time of the search, the police observed what looked like packages of drugs under the floor of the drawer of this vehicle.
The driver of the platform, a 21-year-old surnamed Montero will be sent to the judicial authorities to continue the process for the alleged crime of drug trafficking.
