20 people were deported yesterday

December 27, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Nineteen Nicaraguan men and one woman were deported this Thursday by the Professional Migration Police.

One of these individuals is 23-year-old Ardón Escorcia, who is wanted in the neighboring country for the crime of aggravated rape to the detriment of a minor in 2009.

On December 23rd, Ardón was approached by officers of the Public Force in Jacó de Puntarenas. It was determined that he was wanted in Nicaragua, so he was transferred to the Central Region Apprehension Center of the Migration Police for the corresponding procedure.

The delivery of these people to the Nicaraguan authorities took place at the border post of Tablillas in the canton of Los Chiles, Alajuela.
