UCR’s Environment Week will start on Monday

The University of Costa Rica (UCR) will celebrate the tenth edition of the Environment Week from May, 30th, with lectures, sports, green initiatives and product fairs.

The institution will have different activities aiming to open the month of the Environment, which is officially celebrated on June, 5th.

The highlights of this week’s program are:
– Solid waste collection
– Environmental Fair
– Music workshops
– Artistic presentations
– Adoption of trees

These activities are open not only for students and faculty staff, but for the entire community.

On June, 3rd, cars will not be allowed on campus, so that people can enjoy the area without vehicles, smoke or noise.
