Calderón Guardia Hospital needs O+ blood

Calderón Guardia hospital specialists are urgently requiring donors with O+ blood type, because their reserves are dangerously low, which could limit the performance of several surgical procedures.

The requirements to donate are:
1. Being between 18 and 65 years old.
2. Having a minimum weight of 50 kilograms.
3. Having a light breakfast that does not include dairy or fat.
4. Being in good health conditions.
5. After a cold or flu, wait 2 weeks to donate.
6. Diabetics who only use oral hypoglycemic agents can donate.
7. People with piercings and tattoos can donate after one year.
8. Any hypertensive person under treatment with normal pressure.

You can also donate at the National Blood Bank, located in Zapote.
