Fuerza Pública officials from Tortuguero and Border Police spotted this weekend 95 kilos of marijuana compressed into 5 bags. This has been a recurrent situation for the past 2 weeks.

The bags were a kilometer away from where they had found 49.84 kilos of the drug last week, in the district of Colorado in Pococí. The week before that, they had also found 362 kilograms of marijuana within the areas of Tortuguero National Park.

The Drug Control Police (PCD) arrived at the scene for field testing and the official count. The officers moved the drug to the judicial authorities for the corresponding processing.
