Police arrested 14 criminals

Public Force officers arrested 14 subjects with arrest warrants for several crimes, including rape and aggravated theft.

Among these criminals, there is a person named Vásquez, wanted for a rape allegedly committed in Liberia, Guanacaste.

A Nicaraguan man named Centeno was also arrested for having three charges for aggravated theft. He was caught while walking on a street in Peñas Blancas.

In addition, two other fugitives were captured: A Nicaraguan named Artavia, wanted for aggravated theft and a Costa Rican named Calderón, required by illegal carrying of weapon.

Last year, the security forces captured more than 3,600 subjects with arrest warrants, especially for drug trafficking, sexual offenses and property crimes.
