Africans protested in Liberia

August 9, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Fuerza Pública authorities from Liberia are surveilling a protest taking place in front of the courts of the canton.

Apparently the protest is held by a group of extra-continental immigrants who are asking to be allowed to continue their route to the United States. The protest is specifically directed against a man who allegedly cheated the foreigners and promised to illegally take them to Nicaragua but the trip never happened.

The demonstration started past 11 a.m. causing the security forces to be call into action in the area.
