There is a temporary solution for the immigration crisis

August 29, 2016 by Staff News Writer

There is an immigration crisis in Costa Rica’s borders. However, a temporary solution has apparently be found.

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), 24 people expressed their interest in returning voluntarily to their country of origin.

This is seen as an temporary solution to the problem the Government of Costa Rica is facing: to reduce the number of illegal inmigrants in its borders.

Costs of voluntary return of these people will be totally paid by the IOM, which has an information campaign for migrants to take the opportunity to return to their countries voluntarily.
