A magnitude 5.4 quake was felt in Costa Rica

On Saturday a quake was recorded. It took place in the Central Valley and other parts of the country.

According to information provided by the National Seismological Network, it was a magnitude 5.4 quake and the epicenter was on the East of Savegre, Quepos, with a depth of 18 kilometers.

The quake was felt in Piedades in Santa Ana, La Guácima, Heredia, Cártago and San José.

There are no reports of affected people or material damage.
