A green sea turtle was saved in Limón. It was about to be butchered.

It occured on Monday night, in Moín beach, where some subjects were ready to cut the turtle up. They were found by officers, but they were able to flee due to the darkness.

It is not the first time law enforcement officers rescue these animals. Eggs and turtle meat are sold illegally in that area.
