Man arrested with 3,000 turtle eggs in Guanacaste

Public Force officers arrested a man in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, carrying 3,200 turtle eggs in his truck.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, officers in a checkpoint of a busy area, intercepted the man named Méndez, who was traveling on a Isuzu Rodeo, inside of which there were 16 bags of eggs without the proper permits.

The local security forces referred the case to the local Fiscalía de Flagrancia.
