Costa Rica stands out among best locations to retire in 2014

Costa Rica has been rated number four among a list of nations for retirement, complied by International Living. The ranking is complied by quality of life, wealth, infrastructure, red tape and access to basic health care and services. The number one spot went to Panama for its infrastructure and reduction in paperwork for obtaining visas and residency. Benefits of living in Costa Rica include the public health system, climate, and political stability. The remaining positions are: Spain (5), Colombia (6) Mexico (7), Malta (8), Uruguay (9) and Thailand (10).
