Security forces seized 85,312 medicines coming from Nicaragua

During an operation in La Cruz, Security Forces seized 85,312 medicines coming from Nicaragua.

According to official reports, many of the drugs were found in bags and suitcases that were checked in several parts of the country, including Santa Cecilia buses.

There were pills, syrups and creams that are usually transported to San José to illegally sell them in several stores.

Besides being illegal, these drugs threaten people’s health, because it is unknown whether they have expired or their conditions.
