The Association of Costa Rican Watercolor Artists (ACA) is exhibiting a total of 80 works from 37 national painters in two of the most important cities of Japan. The works will be exhibited during a month.

By doing this, they promote the national and traditional art. In addition, 10 watercolor artists, including Flora Zeledón, Dunia Molina, Thelma Victory, Herberth Bolaños and Juan Carlos Camacho, are paying visits to artists’ studios, galleries and museums in Japan. They will share their experience and transmit Costa Rica essence.

The paintings are displayed in Kytakyushu: Municipal Museum of Art  and the International Gallery of the city of Kyoto.

The ACA was founded in 2002. In 2011 they won the Aquileo J. Echeverria National Prize of Culture.
