A 17-year-old minor had an important amount of drugs and a firegun

A 17-year-old minor was intercepted by the Public Force and he had an important amount of drugs, a firearm and several projectils. The incident took place in Quepos, when police carried out several patrols on Saturday night.

The officers managed to approach him after watching his suspicious attitude when he was in front of a bar.

Officers requested his identification and it was possible to determine that he was a minor. When registering his belongings, 69 doses of crack and 7 cigarettes of marijuana were found, as well as a 25 caliber firearm with 4 unmanned ammunition.

The boy was referred to the judicial authorities for violation of the Psychotropic Law and for illegal possession of a firearm.

In a different operation, the police was able to detain another person with important doses of drug. It is 25-year-old man.

He was seized 52 doses of crack while he was at a bus stop. He was immediately referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
