A man was arrested for having 300 “creepy” marijuana buds

September 29, 2016 by Staff News Writer

A man surnamed Rivera was arrested with 300 “creepy” marijuana buds in Orotina.

Creepy marijuana is marijuana with a higher THC content, which means that it is more powerful and it is more expensive on the black market.

Rándall Picado, regional director of the security forces in Alajuela, confirmed that the 33-year-old man was arrested.

Rivera was traveling in a car when it was stopped by the authorities. Officers inspected the vehicle and they found 300 marijuana buds, whose market value is estimated at about 5,000 colones each. Picado informed that the man had an arrest warrant.
