US President-elect Donald Trump and his vice-president Mike Pence have made contact with several presidents, including president Luis Guillermo Solís.
The information was confirmed in an official statement released by Trump Transition Team’s official website.
The document, signed in New York, states that Trump and Pence have spoken to other world leaders who have offered congratulatory wishes.
The list includes Michelle Bachelet, President of Chile; Milos Zeman, president of the Czech Republic; Sauli Niinisto, President of Finland; Juan Orlando Hernández, Honduran leader; Mariano Rajoy, Spanish Prime Minister and Joko Widodo, president of Indonesia, among others.
