Angry women complain with the President

December 6, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Angry women from Upala complained to president Luis Guillermo Solís at the end of his tour in the canton.

The women scuffled with officers of the security forces to talk to the President, who was already escorted in a car, in his way to Bijagua.

They claimed that they had no food and that their children were hungry.

Ana Josefina Güell, Deputy Minister of Human Development and Social Inclusion reported through the press office of the Presidential House that the situation of said women was revised and it was verified that they had already received aid.
