Another person was arrested for alleged drug trafficking

August 30, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Last week there were 22 kilos of cocaine hidden in a trailer and a Guatemalan was arrested for alleged drug trafficking.

Today it is the same old story: Police Drug Control seized 18 kilos of cocaine located in the differential of a trailer, which was heading to Nicaragua, driven by a 33-year-old Guatemalan surnamed Arana Grijalba. He had no records.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the subject was acting weird. As consequence, officers searched the truck and found drug. It was seized along with more than 400 dollars.

Seven confiscations have been performed in PeƱas Blancas where officers have prevented the trafficking of 165 kilos of cocaine. Eight people have been arrested so far.
