On Monday night, a boat overturn in Arenal Lake was reported. A middle-aged man fell to the water and went missing. On Tuesday, the Red Cross reported that they had found the man’s body without vital signs.
At the time of the accident, the man was traveling alone on the boat, apparently a strong swell would have caused the boat to return. His family kept up the search during the night and the Red Cross representatives started next morning.
Officials of the Judicial Investigation Organization will carry out the corresponding investigation.
