On Tuesday morning, the body of a missing tour guide was found. The man had disappeared on January 4th in the so-called Laguna de Gandoca in Manzanillo, in the South Caribbean.
Officers of the National Coastguard Service located the body a mile and a half from where the disappearance had been reported.
The incident occurred during on Friday afternoon when the guide was kayaking with a couple of foreign tourists. They were rescued, but he wasn’t. Since then, the search was maintained with special equipment.
